Kiteboarding, kitesurfing, or whatever you want to call it, is a fast growing extreme sport that combines aspects of surfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, paragliding, and more. Over the years, the sport has developed and evolved from attaching kites to canoes, skis, and iceskates in the 1980s, to strapping kite foils to windsurfing boards in 1990s. Soon after, specialized kites and boards were developed and the sport of Kiteboarding was born! In the sport’s short history, incredible advancements in technology have been made and each year better, lighter, more durable, and more reliable kiteboards, kites, and other kiteboarding gear have been made.

The 2014 Cabrinah Relauch kite is a scaled down single strut inflatable kite, designed to show students how to use a fully functioning 4 line kite. Since the Relaunch is designed to be used with a standard Overdrive control system, the student will be familiar with all of the control and security features by the time they get on the water for their 1st lesson. As the name denotes, the 2014 Cabrinah Relauch will teach a rider the real world techniques of water launching an inflatable kite by pulling on the left or right leader lines. It will also teach a rider the important technique of operating a 1X security system.

The 2013 Ozone Uno Trainer Kite is a unique design, with only one strut it is an ideal kitesurf trainer for schools, operating and functioning the same as a larger inflatable water kite. It is also perfect for any kiter to have as a fun addition to his/her quiver to get family and friends into kiting.
The 2013 Ozone Uno Trainer Kite is responsive, smooth and stable. It comes in two sizes 2.5m and 4.0m, with enough power to ensure beginners will be ready to progress to the next level. “The Flysurfer Viron Kite is the simplest and safest kite on the market”
The Flysurfer Viron Kite is not just any kite, it defines a class of its own. Maximum safety, optimally user-friendly, simplest relaunch and unbelievable stability. We don’t know of another kite that combines all these features better. The Flysurfer Viron Kite is a kite for all beginners, kite schools, lightweights and for use with stand up paddleboards and gusty winds.
Flysurfer Viron Kite Auto Relaunch
When it comes to relaunch, we set a new kiteboarding benchmark with the Flysurfer Viron Kite . The Flysurfer Viron Kite is the first kite to incorporate Auto-Relaunch. Even in low winds, when letting go of the bar, the kite skims automatically across the water and remains parked and ready at the edge of the window. With just a simple steering impulse, the Flysurfer Viron Kite flies on. Furthermore we have built a special bridle into the kite that makes it practically impossible to get tangled on the water.
Flysurfer Viron Kite Easy & Simple Handeling
The Flysurfer Viron Kite delivers exactly the flight feeling you need for a safe entry into the sport. With all the functions and handling of a full-grown kitesurfing kite but with moderate power, the Flysurfer Viron Kite is at home wherever maximum safety and reliability are required. With gentle bar pressure and progressive bar feedback. Bothersome, long steering paths are unknown to the Flysurfer Viron Kite, you have access to the entire depower throw within an arms length. The Viron is the result of our constant attempt to construct a kite resistant to all operating errors. Including endless hard landings on the water.
Flysurfer Viron Kite Safety Maximized
With the Flysurfer Viron Kite, we introduce a new safety: The patented “Reefline-Safety”. When the kiter activates the quick release, the leading edge of the Flysurfer Viron Kite immediately shrinks together, simultaneously the tips will lay against each other. The Flysurfer Viron Kite then blows out with a minimum of rest-pull and can be relaunched anytime, even by beginners. But this is just one of the features that make the Flysurfer Viron Kite an extraordinary safe kite. The enormous flight stability and a highly effective and directly-functioning depower give the pilot a safety cushion never before experienced. And just in case that isn’t enough, the Flysurfer Viron Kite is equipped with a new safety release, dependable, quick and easy to operate.
The Flysurfer Viron Kitesurpasses all boundaries. This is a kite that makes it possible for children to get started in the sport. It is the answer for cautious or nervous kiters re-entering the sport after an accident. The Flysurfer Viron Kite is the storm kite for accomplished riders and at the same time, the kite that kiteschools have been wishfully waiting for. Stress-free fun, regardless of terrain and equipment. Whether on a mountainboard, with ice skates, in the waves, while snowkiting, with a mountain board, on a SUP or just on the beach. All these features make the Viron what we set it out to be during the development.

The new 2014 F-ONE Monolith bar is made with the brand new MONOLITH technology, the latest fine-tuned jewel from the F-ONE R&D team. CNC-MILLING The heart of the MONOLITH bar is made directly from a 6061 aluminum block. The computer numerical control (CNC) fabrication used allows to carve the bar in one unique piece. This new fabrication method is used in conjunction with 6061 Aluminum, an alloy charged with magnesium and Silicium. This material is extremely resistant and is used in the Air and Space fields. On top of its strength, this material offers excellent resilience and great resistance to corrosion. ANTI-CORROSION The new MONOLITH bar beneficiaries from a new anodizing process that reinforces the external structure of the bar and blocks all corrosion. COMFORT For increased safety and comfort, the bar ends are molded with a soft material. The anti-sliding thermoformed grip also has a double EVA layer on top of the bar. SAFETY SYSTEM The general safety system has been kept the same: UPS with Velcro quick release.

There are different styles of kiteboarding, from freeride or freestyle, wave-riding, and even course and speed racing. The freeride kiteboarding style is pretty much the “anything goes” approach and is the most popular. Most kiteboards sold today are freeride boards with twin tips. The freestyle style of riding is focused on getting big air and doing airborne tricks. Smaller boards and kites with good hang times are used. The wave-riding kiteboarding style is closest to surfing since it is done in a location with a wave break, which is why the sport is often referred to as kitesurfing. This style most often uses a single-point directional board, sometimes without footstraps, and some even use a standard surfboard. The wakestyle style of kiteboarding is most similar to wakeboarding and is focused on tricks and aerials and uses boards with bindings to keep riders strapped in. There are also course racing and speed racing kiteboarding styles which involve speed, skill, and strategy. Specially designed directional race boards with longer fins are used with the goal of outperforming the other kiters to come in first place.
