Boards : Beginner - Intermediate
Beginner & Light Wind boards are usually larger (140cm - 150cm) and Intermediate boards are a bit smaller (130cm - 140cm). The larger boards are easier to learn on due to their increased floatation and size. Once you initially learn on a larger board you may want to get a board more appropriate to your weight and wind conditions.

Boards : Advanced
Advanced/High Wind boards usually are smaller (115cm - 135cm) thus requiring a more powered up situation. They will hold well and allow you to "stomp" the kite but at the expense of slogging a bit when the winds lull. Mutant/Directional & Surf boards are usually ridden by experienced riders looking for increased board speed and a surf ride.
