Born from the cold waters of Vancouver Island, Canada, Ocean Rodeo kites are built for less than stellar conditions. Knowing that conditions are not always ideal, the equipment developed and used are beyond rugged and can take a beating. There is no place for second rate gear in rocky strewn beaches that get smashed by intense North Pacific storms.
Ocean Rodeo kites were developed with the same frame of mind and were also styled for different ride profiles as well. At Kite-Line, we have Ocean Rodeo's Razor, a freestyle wave kite made for beginners and pros alike. The Prodigy is an all terrain freeride kite perfect for riders looking for the perfect kite for every style and pursuit. Capable of handling all riding conditions, the Prodigy is available in four different colors. The Flite kite was engineered for riding in the lightest of wind conditions. Ocean Rodeo also offers the Cypher and Rise kites for park riding and Rise trainer for those just looking to have a little fun.

The 2014 Ocean Rodeo Origin Kiteboard is the start of something good...
The task of the 2014 Ocean Rodeo Origin Kiteboard was to create a board that's easy to learn on, compatible for riders of all sizes, quality constructed, great looks, a kiteboard that you’d want to keep in your quiver as your skill level improves. After many generations of prototypes we found the answer. At 142x47, the Origin sounds big but we’ve narrowed the tips down to 33cm to give the board the playfulness of a fun twin tip. The result is a board that is early to plane, drives upwind, is good in the chop, jumps well, and is a great “lighter wind” board.
The 2014 Ocean Rodeo Origin offers incredible value as an affordable board you will not outgrow.

From the first power stroke you'll know the 2015 Ocean Rodeo Flite kite was built for fun. Agile and light in the hand the Flite tracks as if on rails and snaps around in turns. Designed to be looped, unhooked or sent big the Flite will have you out riding when your friends are still tossing the frisbee!
The 2015 Ocean Rodeo Flite is the lightest kite we've ever made! This translates to an ultra stable kite that won't luff over in the flukiest of winds and practically bounces back up off the water when re-launching. Built with a fun, nimble 3 strut frame the Flite is the world's first high performance, x-over freeride light wind kite.

Your riding style is powerful, smooth and calculated and you demand that your equipment keep up. The LT-138 delivers.
Built with our highly exacting eye for detail and product refinement, the LT-138 is a wood core, carbon reinforced twin tip for today's most aggressive freestyle riders. Bottom channels funnel the chop while our 3 stage rocker helps drive the incredible load and pop you demand from your board. Boots or bindings the LT-138 works with them both, take it to the park or out on the slicks in whichever configuration suits your riding the best.

The Duke: The world’s first, fully rethought, kiteboarding specific directional.
The 2015 Ocean Rodeo Mako Duke joins the Mako lineup as the world's first kiteboarding funboard
Traditional directional kiteboards are based on a surfboard design, not ideally suited to kite specific needs. 4 years in the making, the Mako Duke is a fresh take on a directional kiteboard and borrows heavily from our long history of successful board design. The Duke’s deep Mako concave ensures this board rides smoothly over the chop, reducing nose chatter often associated with other directional boards. The concave also helps the Duke rip up wind and leads to a much more stable board with a massive sweet spot, good for transitional footwork and landing tricks.
The Duke’s concave also allowed us to move the fins further back, giving the board a loose, free feel when turning off the tail at slower speeds and allowing for hard carving turns at higher speed off the rail. Up top, the full EVA deck and flatter tail rocker gives the rider a sense of entitlement to explore their options and practically begs you to jam and ride the board backward for a laugh.
