When you’re having fun it’s easy to forget that kiteboarding is an amazing, full body workout. The more your push your skill level, the more demands you put on core, your arms, your legs. The better the winde, the longer the session, and the more endurance you build.
Kiting is inherently a be-here-now activity. Paying attention to wind conditions, navigating the waves and whitecaps that surround you, feeling the changes in speed and direction with your legs, feeling where the kite is an what it’s doing through the bar… This all allows your mind to tap into the meditative qualities of a focused activity.
